Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

Swyft is a fitness app made by Coppola Digital LLC. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version. Your training data is yours. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and there are no ad or tracking networks in the app. What we collect is what the app needs to work, plus what you choose to share with other people. You can delete everything from inside the app at any time.

Who we are

Coppola Digital LLC, 890 Nivens Landing Dr, Fort Mill, SC 29708, United States. For any privacy question, or to exercise any right described here, email support@coppoladigital.com.

What we collect

Your account

Your email address, or the identifier supplied by Apple or Google if you sign in that way. If you use the community features, also your username, display name and profile photo.

What you tell the app about yourself

Name, age, sex, height, bodyweight, training goal, experience level and activity level, plus preferences such as units and language. Used to size your plan and your calorie targets.

Your training

Workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, durations, personal records, routines and any exercises you create yourself.

Nutrition and supplements

Food entries, meals, calorie and macro targets, water intake, and the supplements you track along with the doses you tick off.

Your body

Weigh-ins, body measurements, and progress photos. Progress photos are uploaded to our storage so they follow you between devices, and they are private to your account.

Apple Health and Apple Watch

Only if you grant permission:

  • Read — bodyweight, steps and active energy, so your progress stays in step with the rest of your phone. During a workout, an Apple Watch also reports heart rate and active energy.
  • Write — finished workouts and bodyweight, so the Fitness rings and other apps know you trained.

You can withdraw either permission at any time in the iOS Health app, and the rest of Swyft carries on working.

WHOOP

Only if you connect a band. Swyft asks WHOOP for your recovery score, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep (duration, performance, efficiency and how much sleep you needed) and your day strain. It is used to show you those numbers and to let the AI coach take your recovery into account before it tells you what to train.

Connecting sends you to WHOOP to sign in; Swyft never sees your WHOOP password. The access and refresh tokens WHOOP issues are stored on our server, not on your phone, and are used only to fetch the data above. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Connections, which deletes those tokens and asks WHOOP to revoke our access, or revoke it yourself from inside the WHOOP app.

Community content

Only if you use it. Workouts you choose to publish, the caption you write, any photos you attach, comments, likes and who you follow. Sharing a workout is always an explicit act — nothing is published automatically.

Photos you attach to a post, and your profile photo, are served from a public address. Even on a followers-only post, anyone holding the direct link to an image can open it. Attach accordingly. This is deliberately different from your progress photos, which live in private storage that only your account can read.

Notifications

A push token for your device, plus a small number of tags such as your current training streak, so reminders are relevant rather than generic. You can turn notifications off in Settings or in iOS.

Diagnostics

The app includes crash reporting, which — when enabled — sends technical details of a crash (device model, OS version, the error and where it happened). It is not linked to your training data.

What we do not collect

  • Your contacts.
  • Advertising identifiers. There are no advertising or tracking SDKs in Swyft.

Location: GPS runs are tracked on your phone, and the route stays on your phone. The one exception is your choice: if you turn on Settings → Privacy → Show Route on Runs (off by default), a run you post to the Community carries its route so it can be shown on a map. The first and last 250 m are removed so it never starts or ends at your door, no times are attached to the points, and only the people who can see that post can see the route. Turn the setting off, or delete the post, to stop sharing it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Artificial intelligence features

Swyft has an AI coach, AI-generated workout and meal plans, and meal analysis from a photo. These run on services operated by other companies, so using them means data leaves your device.

  • The AI coach and plan generation send a briefing built from your training and nutrition data — the lifts you have logged, your goal, your recent sessions, and your WHOOP recovery and sleep if a band is connected — to Anthropic, so the answer is about you rather than generic.
  • Meal analysis sends the photo you took to Anthropic to identify the food and estimate its calories.
  • Illustrations for exercises and meals are generated by OpenAI from a text description of the exercise. No personal data is sent.

These providers process the data to return a result. If you would rather nothing left your device, do not use the AI features — every other part of Swyft works without them.

AI output is not medical advice. Plans, coaching answers and calorie estimates are generated by software and can be wrong. See our Terms of Service.

These companies process data on our instructions to provide the service. They are based in, or process data in, the United States.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. If the business is ever sold or merged, your data may transfer with it, and this policy travels with the data.

How long we keep it

Your data stays until you delete it. Deleting your account removes it. While your account exists, the app keeps recent copies of your data (up to about two months) so you can restore it if something goes wrong; deleting your account deletes them too. Crash reports are kept for a limited period and are not tied to your training history.

Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. That permanently removes your account, every workout you have logged, your photos and your measurements. It cannot be undone.

If you cannot reach the app, email support@coppoladigital.com from your account's address and we will do it for you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how it is used, or take it elsewhere. Exercise any of them by emailing support@coppoladigital.com. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, we process your data to perform our contract with you (running the app), on your consent (Apple Health, WHOOP, notifications, AI features), and on our legitimate interest in keeping the service working and secure. You may withdraw consent at any time and may complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to your rows in the database is restricted to your own account by database-level policies, so one user cannot read another's data. Credentials for connected services, such as WHOOP, are held server-side where the app cannot read them. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not store your password ourselves, and we do not hold payment card details.

Children

Swyft is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and the UK. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email.
